Wake Strategy Advisors (WSA) helps families and family-owned businesses manage, sustain, and grow their wealth across multiple generations. From initial design and planning to execution and management, WSA services are as diverse as the families we serve.
Life is complicated. Running a family business is even more so. Carl von Clausewitz, author of the influential book On War, introduced the concept of “friction” as a hindrance to the execution of strategy. He used this term to describe the “myriad of small, but collectively numerous things that happen that cannot be foreseen or planned for, and which cause leaders to spend time on unforeseen decision making.” WSA aims to mitigate the complexity of family business operations by reducing friction that can permeate the day-to-day lives of business leaders and heads of families.
